About
The BA (Hons) Global Business and Entrepreneurship with Foundation Year is designed to help you unlock your entrepreneurial potential and develop the skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-changing business environment. Foundation Year Your Foundation Year provides the academic grounding you need to succeed at university. You will strengthen your research, communication and critical thinking skills while being introduced to key areas such as entrepreneurship, finance and the global business landscape. Real-world case studies and practical challenges will help you build confidence and nurture an entrepreneurial mindset from the very beginning. Year One In your first undergraduate year, you will gain a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance and strategy. You will learn how to identify opportunities, create value and understand the dynamics of start-ups and growing organisations. Modules in project management and change leadership will give you practical tools for managing innovation and risk in competitive environments. Year Two The second year allows you to put theory into practice by working on live business challenges. You will explore intrapreneurship, digital marketing and venture finance while developing a full business plan and pitching it to a panel. This stage also introduces social entrepreneurship, showing how innovation can be used to address global and community issues. Final Year In your final year, you will refine your expertise by analysing global value chains, conducting advanced market research and engaging in current debates on entrepreneurship and innovation. By graduation, you will have both the knowledge and the practical experience to launch your own venture, contribute to a growing organisation or take on leadership roles in global business.
