Early Childhood Studies

The BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree is ideal for those passionate about supporting the growth, learning and wellbeing of young children. This programme explores key topics such as child development, psychology, play, early learning, inclusion, and safeguarding, giving you the knowledge and skills to positively influence children’s lives from birth to age eight. Alongside academic study, you’ll complete work placements in early years settings, gaining hands-on experience and building professional confidence. You will also develop transferable skills in communication, teamwork and leadership that are highly valued in education and childcare sectors.
