The BA (Hons) Global Business and Entrepreneurship with Foundation Year is designed to help you unlock your entrepreneurial potential and develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-moving global economy. Foundation Year Your first year builds the foundations for success at university, strengthening your academic, research and communication skills. You’ll explore core themes in entrepreneurship, finance and the global business environment, while also developing confidence in writing, critical thinking and presenting ideas. Real-world case studies and challenges will introduce you to the mindset and skills of successful entrepreneurs. Year One You’ll build essential knowledge of entrepreneurship, marketing, finance and business strategy. Modules such as project management and change leadership will give you practical tools to manage innovation, risk and organisational growth in dynamic environments. Year Two The second year focuses on applying your skills through live business challenges. You’ll develop a full business plan, pitch it to a panel, and explore areas such as intrapreneurship, digital marketing and venture finance. You’ll also discover how social entrepreneurship can drive meaningful change in society, combining innovation with social impact. Final Year In your final year, you will refine your expertise by critically examining global value chains, market research and current debates in entrepreneurship.
